RSE and children and young people with Learning Difficulties and SEND
9.30am – 2.30pm
£10, inc refreshments and lunch.
· Are you feeling confident about how to deliver RSE to children and young people with learning difficulties and SEND?
· These are some of the most vulnerable people in our community and they have a right to sound and supportive RSE learning and practice.
·With this in mind, Oak Field School is offering 1 day’s training, open to all.
The day will include:
RSE, SEND and the law
2. Background to RSE and SEND – why is it important?
3. The Preparing for Adulthood agenda and lifelong learning
4. Issues of personal and intimate care
5. Effective working practices
6. Next steps - practical strategies, ideas & resources.
